I hope you are all having a great summer. I love this time of year and I love the 4th of July. What could be better than summer weather in the mountains, grilling out, and fireworks. We are doing some great hamburger buns this week so stop by and pick some up, along with the rest of your Stick Boy shopping list. We'll be open on the 4th until 4:00 PM so we hope to see you here! Bread of the Week: Hamburger Buns

Check out our special hamburger buns that we are making for this week. They are delicious and great for your holiday grilling. Your party will not be complete without them. Made from scratch and hand cut, the key to the flavor in these buns in our mild sourdough starter. Fluffy, slightly crusty, with a hint of sweetness, I am sure that you will love them as much as I do.
Just this week we will have hamburger buns available in packs of 4 for $2.50.
As always,
we mix our breads from scratch, shape them by hand, and bake them in our big German
oven, right here in our bakery on Hardin Street. We bake only with unbleached
and unbromated flour and never use any additives or preservatives. Come and
taste!

| Our Daily Breads |

Our constant experimentation with new breads has created a surplus of recipes that we cannot possibly make on a weekly basis. Our solution to this problem is to offer daily specials, or as we call them, "our daily breads." These breads change from week to week. For the week of June 30th through July 5th, the special breads will be as follows:
Monday: Hamburger Buns (available all week)
Tuesday: Banana Foster Bread - Fresh bananas baked with dark brown sugar, marinated in rum, and folded into a light, fluffy dough.
Wednesday: Swiss Batter Bread - This is a new favorite so we'll be trying to make it regularly. Come by and get one!
Thursday: Cheese Croissants - Available with swiss or cheddar cheese, these croissants are made from scratch and are mouthwateringly rich.
Friday: Red Pepper Sesame Bread - Our sourdough with roasted red peppers, rolled in sesame seeds and baked to perfection.
Saturday: Blueberry Brioche: Move over, chocoatle chips... a new try for a special brioche treat. |

If you are looking for an unbelievable finish to your 4th of July meal, look no further. Our cherry pie is one of my favorite desserts any time of year. It is made from scratch with loads of tart cherries and just enough sweetness to balance it The filling is poured into our homemade flaky pie dough and finished with a lattice top. Tired of cherry pies with a goopy filling and no cherries - well you have found your answer. Come by this week and use the coupon below to save on our delicious cherry pie. Serves 6-8.
